Sloan North has spent years chasing fragments of a theory no one else believes. When historian Indie Jenkins uncovers new evidence, the two set out to follow a trail left by the Sabrithae — a vanished civilisation whose structures remain impossibly intact. As they uncover archives, hidden vaults, and a city buried beyond all known maps, they begin to understand the truth: The Sabrithae did not disappear. They chose who would find them. But they are not alone in the search. With a rival pursuing the same goal for very different reasons, Sloan and Indie must decide not just what the discovery means — but what they are willing to do with it.
