At 31, having written only four films and directed only two, Quentin Tarantino has been lauded as the new Scorsese, won an Oscar and a Palme D'Or and has established actors and directors queuing up for the privilege of working with him. He has also become an extremeley controversial figure - both for the ultra violence of his films and his willingness to do battle with powerful Hollywood figures.
