Synopsis
A documentary examining why conspiracy theories and misinformation spread so readily online. Drawing on cognitive science and the work of sociologist Gérald Bronner, it explores the mental shortcuts and biases that make people inclined to believe compelling nonsense, and asks what becomes of knowledge in an age when conviction outpaces evidence.
