Synopsis
Begins with a discussion of Allen's predecessors, followed by a biographical chapter, then goes on to a film-by-film analysis of his work, concentrating on the little-man figure and it's development over the course of his career. Examines his dialogic concerns in an attempt to clarify the complex changing ision of the world that underlies his work.
