TV Time closes on July 15, 2026 and deletes your account for good. Here’s how to export your data and bring every show and movie you tracked into loggit before it disappears.
TV Time goes dark on July 15
If you’ve tracked your shows on TV Time, the clock is running. The app shuts down on July 15, 2026, and when it does, your account and everything in it are deleted permanently — every episode you ever marked watched, every show you were saving for later.
The good news: you can get it all out, and loggit will take it. It takes about five minutes, and the only hard deadline is TV Time’s own.
Years of marking episodes watched is a real record — don’t let it vanish with the app
A watch history isn’t just data. It’s the show you binged the summer everything changed, the series you and a friend raced through, the pile of things you always meant to get to. When TV Time deletes your account, that record is gone — there’s no “undo” after the 15th.
So the move is simple: pull your history out now, and give it a permanent home somewhere that isn’t going anywhere.
Step one: export your data from TV Time
Go to gdpr.tvtime.com and sign in with your TV Time account. Request your personal data export, and TV Time will hand you a .zip file with your full tracking history inside.
Save that .zip somewhere you can find it — your phone’s Files app or your computer’s Downloads folder. That single file is everything loggit needs.
Step two: bring it into loggit
In loggit, open Import, choose TV Time, and upload the .zip. loggit matches every show to the right title in its catalog and imports it in the background — you can close the screen and it keeps working.
Each show you watched becomes a completed entry in your log, and the shows you were saving land on your watchlist. Movies you tracked come across too. A big library takes a little while; a small one is nearly instant.
What comes across
loggit tracks at the show level, so your episode-by-episode history collapses into one completed log per series — the record that you watched it, kept on the correct title. Your “for later” shows and movies become your watchlist, ready to pick from.
One honest note: TV Time’s export doesn’t include your episode ratings, so imported shows arrive unrated. That’s a chance to re-rate the ones you loved on loggit’s 0–100 scale — and this time they’ll sit in the same log as your films, books, and games. Just don’t wait past the 15th: once TV Time is gone, the export goes with it.
